• Archery Taster Day

  Children from Year 1 to Year 6 had the opportunity of taking part in some archery sessions with a local club. The sessions were  run by Coach Toby and Coach George and focussed on the techniques of loading and firing.

  

• Remembrance Assembly

  Weyford came together for a special remembrance assembly today. Children from nursery through to year six made wreaths to lay during the assembly to pay respects to service personnel both in the past and to give thanks to those who are still in service today. 

   

  We listened intently as we watched the Last Post being played on Portsdown Hill, and were proud to hear children from each year group giving a specially chosen reading. 

   

  Well done to all children who payed their respects during our assembly today, and special thanks to those children who laid wreaths or who were brave enough to give a reading.
