Welcome to year 4
It is lovely to see you all back and eager to start this academic year. We have an exciting term planned for you all. In the up and coming weeks we will hold our topic hook day, a virtual parent meeting to talk about Year 4 as well as Hampshire Music service visiting us.
Hi everyone, my name is Miss Arnold. I have worked at Weyford as a teaching assistant for four years but this is my first time working in year 4. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all again after the summer holiday.
My favourite subjects are art and history and in my spare time I love being outside and reading.
Hi! My name is Miss Plaza and I have now been teaching at Weyford for 5 years. I enjoy helping children learn Spanish across the school. My favourite subject is Maths. I love numbers! My hobbies include nature walks, dancing and yoga. I think education is a powerful tool which can change the future and I try to inspire all my pupils to believe the same.
Hello Everyone! My name is Mrs David, I have been teaching at Weyford for over 15 years. What I love most about teaching is that every day is different and seeing the children blossom throughout the whole of their time at Weyford is wonderful. I am very much looking forward to being part of Lapwing in September
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family especially my beautiful girl Harriet who keeps me on my toes. I also love travelling and have been to some wonderful places including New York, Florida, Australia, Marrakech and many cities in Europe. I have an annual membership to Marwell which I love to visit with my family especially to see the Giraffes.
I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
Hi it’s Miss Sheppard,
I am going to be the teaching assistant in Lapwing next year, I know most of you already know me but I still wanted to tell you all a bit about myself.
I have worked at Weyford as a teaching assistant for nearly four years and I was previously a lunchtime supervisor at Weyford. I enjoy my job as a classroom assistant and find it very rewarding.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my four children. We often play games such as monopoly or play just dance on the Nintendo switch, they are much better at the moves than me! I also enjoy walking in the woods and spending time with my friends and other family members.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all in September, I bet you have all grown tall as It has been a very long time since we were last in school in a class together.
I hope all enjoy your summer holidays and look forward to seeing you.
