Tom Fletcher
Our class is named after Tom Fletcher - a singer, songwriter, musician and children's author. Tom is a number-one bestseller and one of the UK's most popular children's authors. Tom has written over 20 children's books, including; 'The Christmasaurus', 'The Dinosaur that Pooped' series, 'The Creakers' and the 'Who's in Your Book?' series.
Tom is also famous for being a member of the band, McFly. He has written over 10 UK number 1 singles and McFly have sold over 10 million records worldwide.

Meet your teacher!
Hello everyone, my name is Miss Bennett. I am entering my third year of teaching at Weyford. Last year I was in Year R and I am very excited to be moving up to Year 1 with you all. I cannot wait to see how much you continue to grow and shine in the next year!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the theatre, spending time with my family or spending time with my dog, Buzz.
We are going to have a fantastic year!
