It has been a very exciting week in Butterfly and Caterpillar Classes!
We had a visit from the police and enjoyed finding out about what they do and taking turns to sit in the car.
We also came to school to find a crime had taken place...the Numberblocks had been stolen! We took a close look at the clues to create 'evidence reports' and then created 'lost posters' to find out if anyone had seen them. Towards the end of the week we received a letter and some photo clues from the person who had taken them. We followed the clues to find that the Numberblocks were frozen in ice! We discussed the best way to free them and return them to their other Numberblock friends.
Finally we sent the the Number Man ideas for how to make friends, as we found out that is why he had taken them.
