I am a geographer

I am curious about the world and my place in it and explore this through learning about the natural world and how humans relate to, and impact upon, their environment. I learn about the physical environment and human society through first-hand experience, by listening and talking to others and by exploring places (in person and otherwise). I understand that geographers communicate their understanding of and fascination about the world in specialist ways, such as through maps, graphs, diagrams and models.  

My increasing knowledge of diverse people and places both locally and globally gives me a sense of place and belonging and identity, connecting me to the wider world. I am becoming a responsible global citizen, able to live and work across different communities, places and activities.
