Weyford Nursery and Primary School Vision Statement

    “Working Together for Excellence”

Our vision statement of “Working Together for Excellence”, along with our values, underpins all our work at Weyford.

Following a school-wide vote and thoughtful discussion with our School Council, we are proud to announce our four school values: Teamwork, ResilienceAchievement and Kindness. These values reflect what we believe is most important for our school community.

Teamwork is about working well with others, listening, and helping each other succeed.

Resilience means trying our best, even when things feel tricky, and not giving up.

Achievement is about setting goals, working hard, and celebrating our progress and successes.

Kindness means being caring, thoughtful, and respectful to everyone.

We are excited to see these values come to life across the school and help all our children thrive.

    Aims

At Weyford Nursery and Primary Academy, we seek to provide all our children with a high standard of education.

As a whole staff team we aim to provide a learning environment in which:

    • All children feel included, secure and valued
    • All children grow in self confidence, develop independence and are able to achieve their best
    • The effort and achievement of all children are recognised and celebrated
    • We recognise that children learn in different ways and at differing rates
    • We endeavour to supply additional support at an early stage to children who are struggling in an area of their work
    • We seek to work in partnership with parents; recognising the important role that parents have in their child’s learning
    • We expect high standards of behaviour and encourage children to develop respectful, caring relationships with one another, with staff and within the wider community
