Welcome to Weyford Nursery and Primary Academy and to our website

We are proud to be part of  the University of Chichester Academy Trust and we have benefitted from working with them to support both the children at Weyford and to develop the learning community in Bordon. We really hope that you enjoy looking around and finding out more about us. A website cannot fully capture the supportive, positive ethos of our school, so we hope that you will give us an opportunity to show you around the school in person.  Please telephone the school office or email us via the contact page to make an appointment.  If you are already part of our school community, we hope that you find the website a useful way of keeping up-to date with everything that is happening at Weyford.

    Mr C James
    Headteacher

Weyford Nursery and Primary Academy is a school driven by its values. The values of respect, kindness, teamwork, inclusivity, aspiration and achievement underpin everything we do.

We know every child is unique and we value the energy and enthusiasm they bring to our community of learners. It is the school’s responsibility to help each child in our care explore their interests. We are proud of how they grow in confidence and develop the resilience to face the challenges ahead of them.

Together we create a safe and secure environment in which children can develop as people. Our curriculum is carefully planned to develop self-esteem and allow children to move up through the school and on to secondary school not only with the knowledge and skills they need, but also as independent and motivated learners who can make the most of every opportunity.

Our broad curriculum enables our children to succeed in a wide range of areas. We have many sports teams and a range of after-school clubs for children to enjoy and there are many opportunities for them to compete and experience success. Children are encouraged to play a variety of instruments and our choir has taken part in a range of performances alongside other local schools.

We have our own nursery catering for pre-school children as part of our new Early Years Unit. This creates a secure and colourful place for our youngest children to explore, play and learn together.  If you are looking for nursery provision or considering where your child would be best placed for their Reception year, you really must come and see what we offer.

Across the school, we provide regular updates to our parents on the progress of their children and there are many opportunities to discuss the children’s work and celebrate their successes. Working in partnership is so important to us and if there is anything you would like to find out more about, do get in touch.

Please feel free to contact the school with any queries or come in and I will be happy to help.
